IEMCA's Genius 120 magazine bar feeder will be operating on a Star SR20 CNC automatic lathe inside the booth. The Genius offers superior accuracy and can be used in high RPM applications. Plus, users can run very small diameter bars without sacrificing precision.
The Genius 120's hydrodynamic guide channel system enables simple, quick changeover and reduced noise and vibrations. The unique guide channel design allows the guide diameter to be changed by only changing the front guide sections. The bar pusher is contained in a tube fixed to the upper wall of the rear guide. The internal diameter of the tube varies depending on the bar pusher it contains, while its external diameter remains unchanged. This innovation eliminates the need to replace the bar feeder's rear guide sections and speeds job set up when changing guide diameters.
