TROY Introduces New Security Printer with Patented Toner to Help Prevent Against Fraud
SANTA ANA, Calif., Jan. 16 -- TROY Group, Inc. , a Worldwide Provider in Secure Output Solutions, announces the TROY MICR 3005 Printer, the newest addition to TROY's line of Secure Printing Solutions. Based on the Hewlett-Packard P3005 LaserJet Printer, TROY's MICR 3005 offers a cost-effective printing solution with built-in security to help protect your on-demand check printing process. The TROY MICR 3005 Printer is the first printer to be released with TROY's patented toner, which helps to prevent fraudulent alteration.
The TROY MICR 3005 Printers are available in three security levels giving customers a range of fraud deterrent and operational security options. The base level MICR printer provides all the TROY recommended options necessary for reliable check printing. The MICR Secure model includes additional features providing a higher level of security for use in higher risk printing environments. TROY's fully featured MICR Secure Ex printer offers the highest level of security available to financial professionals. The TROY Secure Ex product line offers a 3-position key lock, paper tray locks and enhanced firmware security to discourage casual and professional fraud.
