Resilience(R) Corporation Announces New SecurePlatform Appliances
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Feb. 5 /-- Resilience Corporation has announced the release of its new line of SecurePlatform appliances, the Ndurant S-Series Appliances.
The new Ndurant S-Series Appliances are purpose built and tested to work with Check Point's SecurePlatform open server software, and will be shipped pre-loaded with either VPN-1 Power or VPN-1 UTM. Most models of Ndurant S-Series Appliances will also include a Resilience RESlink Card to enable a simple, field upgrade to Resilience's complete system Integrated High Availability (iHA) and intelligent management software.
Resilience's new Ndurant S-Series Appliances are priced not only for large enterprise implementations, but also for small and medium-sized businesses and remote offices. The smallest S-Series Appliance, built to work cost-effectively even for systems with less than 25 users, is priced at under $1,500, while higher performance, carrier class models designed for larger user environments are priced at less than $52,000 (Check Point's SecurePlatform and application software license fees are not included in these prices). Resilience's carrier class features include dual hot swappable power supplies, dual CPUs, and extremely high port density. Product availability is March 2007.
