Securus Technologies, Inc. Announces the Release of Its SecureView Tablet

DALLAS -- Securus Technologies, Inc., a leading technology provider to the government services sector announced today the completion of its Inmate Tablet Device (SecureView Tablet). Securus continues to expand its technology offerings and has recently acquired both Archonix, a leading public safety and jail management software services company, and STOP, the nation's leading provider of GPS tracking devices for parolees.

Inmate tablets are secure, personalized devices that provide access to multiple applications.  Current industry suppliers are primarily focused on generating revenue from inmates by up-selling media, such as music and video files. With SecureView Tablets, an expanded set of applications are made available for inmates to use. "In addition to providing access to music and media, we are also focused on the delivery of constructive applications that benefit the inmates on a long-term basis. The Secure-Jobs Application is an example of content that will benefit inmates as they transition back into society.
