Midwest Snips® Introduces Interchangeable Blade Seamers - Two Tools in One!



Sturgis, Michigan, -- Midwest Tool And Cutlery Company has introduced patent pending Interchangeable Blade Seamers for the HVAC/R and building/construction trades. Interchangeable blades provide great value and convenience by eliminating the need to carry or purchase two separate hand seamers. The MW-S36 model seamer comes with 3-inch and 6-inch forged steel blades while the MW-S59 has 5-inch and 9-inch aluminum blades. Interchangeable blades are quick and easy to switch out. Each of the four blade sizes is also available in individual Seamer Blade Kits. The MW-S36 Interchangeable Blade Seamer features 3-inch and 6-inch wide, 1-1/2-inch deep forged steel blades designed for sheet metal applications such as HVAC/R ductwork, aluminum flashing, copper, metal roofing, fascia and other sheet materials. The forged blades are rated for up to 22 gauge cold rolled sheet metal and have rust resistant zinc plating.

The MW-S59 Interchangeable Blade Seamer features 5-inch and 9-inch wide, 2-inch deep aluminum blades designed for applications such as aluminum roof and chimney flashing, fascia and other lightweight materials. The rust-resistant anodized aluminum blades are rated for up to 0.030-inch aluminum.
