Marktech Introduces "Pig Tail" Emitters
Latham, NY –Â Marktech Optoelectronics is pleased to introduce its series of “Pig Tail” emitters. These emitters offer high reliability in a hermetically sealed metal can package for demanding applications.
These devices are approximately 2.0mm in diameter, less than half the size of a standard TO-18 or TO-46 type device offering the user more flexibility when space is an issue. According to Vincent C Forte, Marktech’s CTO “These emitters are well suited for applications where size is an issue but hermeticity and precise performance is required”.
These pigtail packages, MTE4064PT-UR, MT4064PT-UR and MTE9440PT are in stock and available through Digi-key.
Marktech also offers these “pigtail” packages in a variety of lens types for narrow or wide angle illumination patterns. In addition we offer a large selection of both emitter and detector chips with tight binning for your specific application.
