Sealed Air Jiffy Mailer® Products Receive SFI Chain of Custody Certification for Responsible Forest Products

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. - Sealed Air has received the Sustainable
Forestry Initiative® (SFI) chain of custody certification for Jiffylite® mailers, Jiffy® Padded mailers, Yesterday's News(TM) mailers and Jiffy® Utility Mailers. The chain of custody process tracks products through different stages of paper production, starting in the forest and ending with consumption by customers; ensuring that chain of custody certified products come from well-managed forests and recycled paper.

Sealed Air's Jiffy Mailers® were audited by an independent third-party accredited by SFI and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Sealed Air will begin labeling Jiffy Mailer® products with the SFI logo denoting that these products are produced using responsible fiber sources.

"Jiffy Mailers® are one of Sealed Air's flagship brands, offering a broad range of
packaging solutions for small parcel shipping. Most Jiffy Mailer® products contain recycled materials, and the new SFI chain of custody certification demonstrates to our customers a further commitment to the environment and sustainability," said Paul McEvoy Sealed Air's business manager of Jiffy Mailer® product line. "Sealed Air continues to live up to its SmartLife(TM) Initiative-a multi-platform approach to raise awareness about sustainable packaging and how the Company is advancing its sustainability mission within its business strategy."
