Technology Advances for Individual Quick Freezing and Aquaculture

Murray Hill & New Providence, N.J., U.S. – At the 2016 Seafood Processing Expo, March 6-8 in Boston, Linde LLC will showcase advanced technology for aquaculture and a proprietary cryogenic solution for individually quick freezing (IQF) shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and other small seafood items that require high quality with high efficiency.



On display at booth #2074, the CRYOLINE® CW (CRYOWAVE®) IQF freezer uses a patented rolling-wave action on the conveyor belt to keep shrimp or other seafood items separate as they are individually quick frozen.

The CRYOWAVE freezer, which can be equipped with either carbon dioxide (CO2) or liquid nitrogen (N2), is part of a range of freezing and chilling solutions from Linde that can help seafood processors meet production requirements, improve product quality, reach new markets, and satisfy burgeoning demand for prepared food products.
