New Castle Industries Announces New Rubber Screw Product Line
New Castle, PA: New Castle Industries - Extrusion Technologies Group, a leading manufacturer of screws and barrels for the polymer industries, has recently expanded its product offerings to include rubber extrusion screws and barrels.
Available as New and OEM Replacement screws, the product line can accommodate Hot Feed, Cold Feed, Cold Feed Vented and Pin Barrel, single or dual diameter up to and including 24". Standard base material is 4140 heat treated steel, with available options including 4340 heat treated steel, Nitralloy 135M, and all grades of stainless steel. An exclusive plasma transferred arc welding process ensures constant hardness and minimizes "cracking" and bonding problems. Available welds include Colmonoy 56, Colmonoy 83, and Stellite #1, #12, #6.
Special retrofits, including Extended (L/D) length screw/barrel combinations both vented and non-vented, and Pin Barrel Conversions can upgrade and increase processing performance. The Extrusion Technologies Group also offers complete Repair & Rebuilding services as part of its product offerings.
