Mountz Expands Torque Range of the E-DRIV EF-Series Miniature Electric Torque Screwdrivers

Mountz, Inc. announces the new design of the E-DRIV EF-Series miniature electric screwdrivers. The EF-Series features an increased torque range capacity along with non-contact optomagnetic sensor that reduces maintenance and increases production uptime. The durable, slim EF-Series electric screwdriver offers a new torque range capacity of 0.5 - 10.4 inch-pounds. These electric screwdrivers are ideal for the electronic and light industrial manufacturing applications.
The EF-Series electric screwdrivers are NRTL certified from TUV America, Inc. The handheld electric tools were tested according to the relevant safety requirements of UL60745-2-2/CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60745-2-2:2004 standard. The certification ensures manufacturing companies that they are purchasing and operating a quality and safe tool for its operators.
The EF-Series are low voltage DC electric screwdrivers. These rugged assembly tools increase productivity and enhance product quality through precision torque control and user comfort. The electric screwdrivers automatically stop when the preset torque has been reached.
The electric screwdriver models require a power supply to operate. The STC 30 Plus power supply operates all EF-Series models and the unit is also NRTL certified. The power supply features an Over Heat Protection (OHP) and Over Current Protection (OCP) that protects the electric screwdriver from damage or malfunction. The temperature detection powers down the unit and resets automatically when unit restores to acceptable levels. The STC 30 Plus power supply can also be connected to the Scout screw counter for error proofing or Poke Yoke error detection.
