Cladan Corporation Offers Fully Integrated Conductor Printing System

The CLA-300 small footprint, environmentally controlled screen printing system offers high resolution, low distortion printing with roll-to-roll web handling, integrated video inspection, drying and rewind with interleave.

San Diego, CA -- August 9, 2005 - Today Cladan Corporation announced availability of its new Integrated Conductor Printing System for Industrial Electronics. Providing continuous web handling, the CLA-300 Printer System utilizes a proprietary cylindrical platen to improve resolution, reduce distortion and extend screen life indefinitely. Fully self contained in an environmentally controlled cabinet, the CLA-300 accepts films, ceramic tape, or foils and continuously prints, dries and rewinds with interleave materials to facilitate high volume manufacturing processes. Processing a 7"x 7" print every 5 seconds, the system produces 4,200 fully processed prints per shift, rolled and ready for stacking or further manufacturing.

The CLA-300 includes easy programming with touch-screen controls and intuitive process management. The optional video inspection system assures pro-active quality control. With a footprint of less than 2.5 square meters, the printer system allows the user to make the most efficient use of space and eliminates the need for expensive material handling between machines. Maintaining a self contained clean-room environment, the CLA-300 insures that work-in-process is not exposed to contaminants during any phase of the unwind, printing, drying and rewind process.
