Screen Americas Approves Several Spinnaker Coating Label Products
ROLLING MEADOWS, Illinois – Screen Americas announced today that the company had tested and approved a diverse array of pressure-sensitive label materials manufactured by Spinnaker Coating, LLC for use in the Truepress Jet L350UV inkjet label press. The narrow-web Truepress Jet L350UV prints bright, lively images on inkjet-qualified paper, films, polyester and metalized substrates, and print providers now have more options when it comes to which approved label stock to choose.Â
Headquartered in Troy, Ohio, Spinnaker Coating produces pressure-sensitive paper and film products for the printing industry. Spinnaker products are the preferred label stock for Screen Americas' customer demonstrations of the Truepress Jet L350UV.
In all, 10 Spinnaker face stocks exhibited the measurable print performance, runnability and adhesion that would give Screen customers the image quality, fine text and high speeds they need. Among the approved face stocks are Semi Gloss Paper, 2.0 mil TC Clear BOPP, 2.3 mil TC White BOPP, 2.0 mil Bright Silver Metallized BOPP, Holographic Rainbow PET and others. The 10 face stocks translate to just over 60 constructions. All are available as Trimless constructions with a 3 inches wide and 5,000 feet long single roll minimum.
