SCO Announces Availability of Maintainance Pack 3 for OpenServer 6


Maintenance Pack 3 includes updated Xenix emulation to enable older OpenServer 5 applications to run on OpenServer 6.

LINDON, Utah, Nov. 6 - The SCO Group, Inc. ("SCO") (NASDAQ:SCOX), a leading provider of UNIX software technology and mobile services, today announced the general availability of Maintenance Pack 3 for SCO OpenServer 6. This highly anticipated product update contains many feature enhancements, including an updated Xenix emulator that will make upgrading to OpenServer 6 from older versions of OpenServer 5 much easier. All recent web postings are integrated in this Maintenance Pack, and many open source components have been updated, including OpenSSH, Perl, PHP, Apache, and others.
