Schreiner Protech at Electronica 2010, Hall B1, Booth 668

Oberschleissheim, - Schreiner ProTech, a specialist for industrial marking solutions and functional components, will showcase selected product innovations at electronica 2010 in Munich from November 9 to 12. The highlights to be displayed will include marking solutions and printing-dispensing systems for very small components, functional films and controls with printed electronics plus RFID labels for intra-logistics. The company's trade fair presence will thus feature an array of innovative products in line with the current trends and requirements of the electronics industry which, in addition, make production processes leaner.

The smaller the better: Schreiner ProTech offers the marking and film-based solutions fitting the unbroken trend toward miniaturization: mini-labels with a base area of 4 x 4 millimeters ensure reliable marking of small components. Double-sided adhesive mini-die-cut parts (mini-DSAPs) provide a process-reliable and cost-effective alternative to liquid gluing or soldering for fast and clean attachment of very small elements to printed circuit boards or other small components. Schreiner ProTech's printing-dispensing systems are specifically adapted to these purposes and enable easy and efficient processing of the mini-labels and mini-DSAPs.

The demand for accommodating a steadily growing number of functions in less and space is satisfied by printed electronics. This new technology allows opaque and transparent conductor paths, sensors or other technical features to be printed on films. As a result, switches, controls and displays are assembled in a single surface. Due to their low height of about one millimeter these controls allow flexible uses and a wide range of customized design options. In combination with electroluminescence (printed light) attractive backlighting projects can be realized, for example.

Contactless data acquisition using RFID technology enables easy and fast control of processes. RFID labels serve to clearly identify components and offer versatile uses-from tracking and tracing of goods in logistics, production control, goods and inventory management all the way to authentication and minimization of product liability risks. (rfid))-HighTemp label are used for applications requiring particularly high temperature resistance of the data storage medium. They withstand exposure to heat of up to 220° C undamaged and are particularly suitable for loading aid identification and for painting or cleaning processes of containers.
