Carmeuse Lime & Stone, Grand River, OH was named the recipient of this year's "Outstanding Alternative Fuels Project of Year Award" at the recently held Global CemFuels Conference in Vienna, Austria. The recognition for the alternative fuel feeding system was based on receiving the most online votes cast by industry experts throughout the world. Also included in the Schenck Process system was a receiving station and storage bin, both from Keith Walking Floor. Other firms recognized in the award included, Process Plus, SMP Welding, Vexor and KFS. Commissioning took place in January 2013 despite challenging winter weather conditions.
