New Scale Indicators Feature Huge 2 Inch or 1.1 Inch Backlit Displays For Much Easier Viewing
Fairmont, MN-April 11, 2003-Weigh-Tronix, Inc. has introduced the 1040/1040XL indicator series. Both models feature extremely easy-to-read displays, regardless of mounting location. The Model 1040 features 1.1" digits while the Model 1040XL offers extra large 2.0" digits to make viewing easier, even from a front-end loader. With a backlight LCD display, viewing is clear even in light restricted conditions. The 1040 series is ideal for TMR applications with enhancements to simplify batching and manage feed costs. An optional memory module (TDM-40) can be used with several available PC packages. This allows the user a simple and low cost means of uploading and downloading valuable information between the PC and indicator.
Especially significant is the addition of an alpha-numeric keypad that allows the user to spell out names of ingredients, recipes and pens for easy identification. A new Automatic Ration Adjustment feature provides proper ration balance for the remainder of the ration, using the actual amount loaded of the first ingredient. For the management of inventory, an accumulator provides usage history, while the internal memory stores up to 100 ingredients, recipes, pens and completed batch records. An extra bright LED alarm light notifies the user when the target load or unload weight has been reached. Use of the XM64 Transmitter/Receiver allows easy remote ingredient advance when away from the indicator.
