Schneider Electric Releases Vijeo Look Version 2.0 HMI Software
PALATINE, Ill. - Feb. 18, 2004 - Schneider Electric has added powerful graphics for custom libraries and new objects such as PID loops and conveyors to version 2.0 of its Telemecanique® Vijeo Look, an entry-level SCADA solution for small and medium-sized applications. Other new capabilities include historical and real-time trending, extensive data logging, user-friendly alarming and simplified communication. Based on open, standardized technology, Vijeo Look v2.0 is one of the most affordable HMI products on the market.
Vijeo Look version 2.0 doesn't require advanced redundancy or communication with other HMI/SCADA solutions. Easy-to-use database management tools provide tasks such as database size limitation, age limitation, purging and archiving capabilities, while standardized tools, such as Wizards and Eye-driven controls, help develop customized applications. Additional features include:
· Diagnostic tools, including a rack viewer and Diag. buffer.
· Multi-lingual support - English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
· Several different numerical display formats, including decimal, binary, exponential, daytime and comma-separated.
· Recipe editor creates, links, modifies and sends recipes.
