TAMPA, Fla. - Savtira Corporation (Savtira), a new provider of B2B Cloud Commerce solutions, today announced it has selected Oakwood Systems Group, Inc. (Oakwood) as its prime contractor for multi-platform client-side development to extend the Savtira store-fronts to a range of devices and operating systems including smartphones, tablets, browsers, connected cars, computers, smart TV's and media tables. As a part of this partnership, Oakwood is making an equity investment in Savtira.
Based on Oakwood's 30 years in business, core competencies and strength in software, video and platform development, particularly in cloud streaming, Oakwood is uniquely qualified to work with Savtira's innovative Web 3.0 Cloud Commerce platform.
Savtira's Software-as-a-Service Cloud Commerce solution offers digital and physical goods, and uses e-commerce to sell everything from downloadable entertainment programs to consumer electronics. Savtira eStores are branded and custom-tailored for Savtira clients so that no two eStores are alike. All Savtira clients also have the option to distribute millions of digital titles and thousands of physical goods from the Savtira catalog to their customers from their own branded eStore. The platform also includes Savtira's carrier-class "Entertainment Distribution Network" (EDN), which streams all digital media from the cloud to any device.
