Original Press Release:

Reinforced Thermal Interface Thin Film

Sarcon® 20GAR from Fujipoly® is a high-performance, glass fabric reinforced thermal interface material that is perfect for complex die-cut shapes. It delivers a thermal conductivity of 3.0 W/m•K while exhibiting a thermal resistance of only .17°C•in2/W.

The 0.2 mm thick reinforced film is well suited for cooling high-power applications that commonly use an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) to regulate electrical current. These are found in many applications including appliance motor drives, electric vehicle motor drives, solar inverters and inductive heating cookers

Sarcon® 20GAR thin film is a V‐0 equivalent material that is best suited for applications with operational temperatures ranging from ‐40°C to +150°C. The high-performance thin-film is offered in rolls, pre-cut sheets or can be die-cut to the exact shape you need.
