SAP Presents Citect Best New Application Ported to SAP NetWeaver (ANZ) Award

Sydney, Australia - Citect's Ampla MES Solution has been recognized by SAP with an award for Best New Application Ported to SAP NetWeaver (ANZ) and Powered by NetWeaver ISV at the recent SAP Asia Pacific FKOM & Partner Congress '07 in Hong Kong. Citect was also an exhibitor at the event that hosted over 1800 SAP partners and SAP teams from all over the world.
The SAP award marks an important step in Citect's relationship with SAP. Its Ampla MES solution became NetWeaver-certified in 2006 and has been successful in reducing the cost of plant to business interoperability, while at the same time enabling Ampla's key production information to be displayed inside the SAP Enterprise Portal.
Ampla is a highly scalable MES solution that drives the effective planning, operation and improvement of production operations. Supporting continuous improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma and integrating with plant and business systems, Ampla delivers fast ROI and sustainable plant performance improvements.
