Sanyo's Innovative Pan Focus Cameras Are IP Ready When You Are

Allow Users to Implement Superior Imaging Technology Today and Easily Upgrade to IP Operation Tomorrow.

Chatsworth, CA (January 8, 2007) - Sanyo's new Pan Focus cameras provide users and systems designers with a unique advantage: the ability to implement superior imaging technology on an analog platform with the ability to easily convert the cameras for networked operation. The transformation from an analog to a networked platform requires the simple addition of an IP board to Sanyo's Pan Focus cameras. The conversion is fast and easy, and can be performed in the field, further maximizing the added value of Sanyo's innovative Pan Focus technologies.

Sanyo's Pan Focus cameras utilize deep focusing techniques to provide continuous focus across the entire field of view - from the foreground to the background - maintaining clear focus across the entire frame. This unique focusing ability increases the coverage capabilities of the cameras and can substantially reduce the number of cameras required for advanced video surveillance applications.

"Sanyo's Pan Focus cameras provide a unique feature/benefit set. Their deep focusing capabilities improve the video surveillance coverage area, and their ability to easily be converted for IP operation combine to provide an unparalleled value proposition," said Frank Abram, Vice President and General Manager, Security Products Division, Sanyo Fisher Company. "The addition of these innovative Pan Focus cameras to Sanyo's growing line of video surveillance solutions is testimony to our ability to deliver practical solutions in pace with the industry's needs."
