ANAHEIM, Calif., June 19 / - SANYO, one of the world's largest manufacturers of projectors offers the widest and most extensive line of tabletop and portable models with the introduction of (10) ten new models during INFOCOMM this week in Anaheim, CA.

Leading the industry in value priced, high brightness projectors for large venues, SANYO breaks new ground at INFOCOMM with numerous innovative designs such as wireless transmission of non-compressed HD video, ultra-short throw projection, the Active Maintenance Filter System and the world's brightest LCD projector.

"Sanyo is proud to expand their line of front projectors at the 2007 InfoComm Show," says Mark Holt, the Vice President and General Manager for SANYO's Presentation Technologies Division. "Sanyo projectors are 'in tune with networking' in that most new models have a network interface for management and network content delivery. With these new products and innovations, SANYO continues to have the most complete line of projectors - meeting the needs for more of today's presenters and professionals."

The PLC-XF47 is the world's brightest LCD projector rated at 15,000 lumens and is also one of the first projectors capable of transmitting non-compressed HD video wirelessly. The projector is outfitted with four 330-watt lamps, making it the perfect solution for large gatherings and events. SANYO's exclusive PJ Network interface uses an IP addressing scheme to monitor projector functions such as power status, lamp status, input mode, signal condition, lamp-use time, etc. from a web browser. This latest version of the PJ Network accommodates wireless transmissions. The PLC-XF47 also features the exclusive Durable Inorganic Optical System (DIOS) with optical components that are heat and UV resistant.

Offering up the world's brightest single lamp LCD projector at 6500 lumens, the PLC-XP100L uses SANYO's exclusive Active Maintenance Filter System that automatically detects airflow and advances clean filter material as needed, resulting in less maintenance and increased reliability. SANYO's proprietary Up/Down/Left/Right lens shift ensures a perfect image even in the most challenging positions. It also includes DIOS and is compatible with 1080-24psf/25psf/30psf signals using a full 10bit video circuit for superior picture quality.

When space is limited, the PLC-XL50 is the solution for a variety of situations ranging from educational blackboard use, smaller offices, and digital signage. As the world's shortest throw LCD projector, the PLC-XL50 utilizes a new proprietary fixed ultra-short focus lens and SANYO's proprietary Aspherical mirror system, which is capable of projecting an 80-inch image from about 3-inches away. The projector also includes a vibration-sensing anti-theft audio alarm, which sounds when the device is picked up. The alarm is set using a PIN lock system.

The PLC-WXU10 is a wide XGA (1280 x 800) projector, rated at 2000 lumens, which is designed for both business and residential applications. Weighing less then (8) eight pounds, this projector is ultra-mobile and can be used all day for laptop presentations and at night provides a wide 16:9 image suitable for watching HD broadcasts and DVDs.

The PDG-DXT10 is a two-lamp projector utilizing Up/Down/Left/Right lens shift to accommodate virtually any placement. The exclusive PJ Net function for communication on a wired network is also available. The value-priced PDG-DSU20 is aimed to fill the education and mobile projection markets where budgets tend to be tight but performance is absolutely required.

Both the PLC-XU101 and PLC-XU111 are super bright portable projectors rated at 4000 lumens with 1024 x 768 resolution. Each is capable of illuminating a well-lit conference room or house of worship. The PLC-XU111 offers additional wireless and wired networking for greater versatility plus a USB port enables PC-less presentations.

The PLC-XU78 and PLC-XU75 are 3000 lumens and 2500 lumens projectors, respectively, that are excellent solutions for the educational market with a Black Board mode, for projection on surfaces other than white screens, and a user interface with 16 languages. Twenty-degree up and down keystone correction offers fast and easy setup and the PIN code lock prevents theft.

SANYO leads the industry in expanding commercial applications for front projectors in new and exciting ways, especially the educational, presentation and houses of worship industries. These new products and many others can be seen in booth 7300 at the Anaheim Convention Center during INFOCOMM starting June 19, 2007.
