Hans Weber Patented Cross Belt (CBF) Finishing System

Hans WEBER announces the development of their new, patented Cross Belt Finishing system (CBF) available on their KSF and KSV series machines.

The finish generated by this new system is free from visible oscillation marks and provides a surface that is easily finished with a hand or a machine orbital pad. Cross grain marks are light and uniform and may be acceptable in many applications.

Weber uses a segmented back up belt that runs across the width of the machine. This belt costs almost 90% less than full width back up belts; cannot develop a wear pattern; is easily changed; and the support and drive mechanism are simple, unlike a full width system. Not only does it supply a superior finish; it is easier to use; much more cost effective; and lower in initial cost that a full width back up belt system.

Weber's wood finishing equipment is known for technological innovation such as the CBF system and the patented floating segment platen (ISA, Intelligent Sanding Adjustment) with automatic pressure adaptation along the edges. Weber has been manufacturing reliable, durable, quality sanding machines for over 100 years. For more information contact:
