The ThreadGuard Solution for Sustainable Bung Thread Protection
A new safety tool for sustainable thread protection now helps cut losses on all kinds of plastic 2" NPT bung hole mounting equipment. The new DM-55BTG ThreadGuard(TM) from DRUM-MATES is an equipment thread protection device that can pay for itself in its first use. Process devices - some, very expensive - such as plastic pumps, level sensors, pH monitors, sensitive metering equipment, bung faucets, funnels, etc. require regular replacement due to plastic-on-steel, thread misalignment damage - cross threading.
Maintenance operators are constantly trying to prevent cross threading that causes destruction of equipment, loss of use and the subsequent need for equipment replacement.
