BTI : Non-Contact Safety Switches and Safety Relays
BTI offers a full line of Non-Contact Safety Switches and Safety Relays for applications where conventional mechanical type safety switches miss the mark. The Safety Switch line utilizes solid state circuitry with an internal monitoring system that is able to detect it's own safety contact failure and interlock to a fail-safe mode. This allows certain BTI Switches to meet Safety Category 3 without a safety relay and Safety Category 4 with a safety relay. BTI's AMX series can even maintain safety category 4 when multiple switches are wired in series while using a safety relay. BTI switches are available in either polycarbonate or stainless steel housings and come standard with a 3 meter cable. BTI switch's are also available in Mini's, Cylindrical bodies, Magnetic hold and Extreme Condition Models. BTI Safety relays come with manual or automatic reset, are available in 22.5 or 100 mm models, have a variety of safety contact configurations and are available in either 24VAC/ DC or 120 / 240 VAC.
