Spence Announces Figure 800 Safety Relief Valve


Spence Engineering Company, Inc., Walden, New York announces the Figure 800 Safety Relief Valve with all stainless steel internals for improved corrosion resistance. In addition to the standard metal seat, a choice of three different soft seat options provide tighter shutoff for those applications where the operating pressure is close to the set pressure of the valve.

The Figure 800 meets ASME Section VIII for liquid, steam, air & gas services and features quick opening and short reclosing pressures while incorporating a fixed ring design that reduces maintenance costs and provides longer life. The Figure 800 is available for pressures to 900 PSIG and temperatures to 422°F. Additionally, the Figure 800 is suitable for Cryogenic Application down to -400° as well as hazardous gas applications.
