Spence Announces New Figure 790 Cryotree(TM) Assembly
Spence Engineering Company, Inc., Walden, New York announces the
introduction of the new Figure 790 Cryotree(TM) Assembly dual safety relief system for stationary cryogenic storage tanks. The Figure 790 utilizes standardized components pre-assembled for quick, easy installation and eliminates the need to shut down and evacuate the tank to service the safety valves and rupture discs.
Each Figure 790 Assembly includes high capacity safety relief valves, full flow diverting valve, rupture discs, bleed valves and related piping and provides for a single connection to internal tank piping. Figure 790 Assemblies meet ASME Code Section VIII and are O2 cleaned for oxygen service in compliance with CGA specification G-4.1.
The Figure 790 Assembly is available in sizes 3/4", 1" and 1-1/2" and is suitable for pressures to 400 psig and temperatures from cryogenic to 400°F.
