Watlow® New SERIES LS Safety Limit Meets Strict Safety Requirements
Watlow®, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of complete thermal systems, announced that its new safety limit, the SERIES LS, meets stringent safety standards including UL® 1998 and EN 60730, and will shut a system down to prevent damage to equipment or injury to personnel.
The SERIES LS is recommended for any application where control failure could cause the temperature of an application to continue to increase resulting in damage to system equipment, potential fire hazard or large product scrap costs.

The SERIES LS provides increased safety due to the use of a factory fixed set point, a factory fixed hysteresis and the use of redundant temperature sensors to protect against a single-point sensor failure.
