New Torch Wear® Safety Glasses Announced

TWINSBURG. OH-April 13, 2005-Torch Wear has announced a new line of safety glasses. The glasses, which are manufactured exclusively for Torch Wear by Oakley, are optically superior to all other protective eyewear while meeting ANSI Z87.1-2003 safety specifications.

Intended to be worn by themselves or as primary eye protection under welding or grinding helmets, Torch Wear® safety glasses employ Oakley's patented XYZ Optics® to maintain visual clarity at all angles. All other safety glasses bend light rays and distort vision because they are made by bending sheets of plastic. XYZ Optics maps the full lens contour to the human eye. Lens are milled from solid plastic blanks, insuring razor-sharp vision at all angles.

Torch Wear safety glasses are available with clear or high intensity yellow lens. Each pair comes with a Microclear(TM) storage bag, which can be used to help clean the lenses.

Torch Wear products are sold exclusively through professional safety and welding distributors.
