NEW 'HELIUM' SAFETY FOOTWEAR BY LEMAITRE SECURITE STEPS UP WITH NON-METALLIC PROTECTIVE PERFORMANCE

Designed and produced by Lemaitre Securite, the HELIUM line is a completely new concept in safety footwear for professionals in the electronic and electrical industries, airports, clean rooms, logistics and transport, subcontracting in the car industry, and inspection zones in manufacturing industry. They are exceptionally light and comfortable and comply with the requirements for quality and safety per ISO regulations 20344 and 20345 S2/S3.

The HELIUM range is available in a low-cut version, HABOOB S3, and a high-cut version, HURRICANE S3, which supports and protects the ankles and the Achilles tendon. Made of soft and durable water-resistant full-grain leather, it is lined with Cambrelle® for greater comfort. This 100% polyamide lining transfers moisture from the skin to the exterior and is highly resistant to abrasion. It absorbs perspiration while keeping the foot dry. There is also a version lined with a Gore-Tex® sock: HEGOA S3.

In addition to its sporty and stylish design, the range offers numerous protective advantages. Its synthetic TPM protective toecap is ultra-light, ultra-resistant (200 J, compliant with ISO 20345), against the risk of damages to toes. Non-metallic and without fiberglass, it is lighter and more elastic than a composite or steel toecap, and above all, will not split or break in case of an impact. An anti-perforation insert made of para-aramid fibers is light, flexible, stable and resistant to perforation. It covers 100% of the footbed. Just like the TPM toecap, it is non-conductive to heat and/or cold, which is particularly suitable for people working outside. The anti-slip sole with a curved Parabolic® profile (an exclusive patent of Lemaitre Securite©) is supplemented with a double-density insert under the heel. The concave structure of this sole gives an excellent grip on all industrial floor surfaces. After the compression phase during walking, the energy is restored, thus giving a dynamic, spring-like effect. The heel provides proper protection for extra safety in numerous situations such as walking on cluttered or irregular floors, climbing ladders, etc.

Fully non-metallic and non-magnetic, HELIUM shoes are resistant to thermal variations and transfers from 14° to 104°F. They are undetectable by metal detectors or security scanners. They are also resistant to hydrocarbons and acids.
