GUARDIAN(TM) BARRIER CURTAIN FEATURES NEW SAFETY SYSTEM
MILWAUKEE, WI - Frommelt® Safety Products announces an enhancement to the Guardian(TM) Barrier Curtain, which is designed to protect personnel from weld flash and flying debris. The new Guardian features a Category 4 safety interlock switch that detects the upward movement of the curtain, and stops the robotic operation to help improve safety and automate the welding processes. The new switch enables the Guardian to be used without a redundant light curtain or pressure sensitive mat to save valuable production space. Ideal for robotic welding cells, laser enclosures or general protection from manufacturing processes, the Guardian can help improve plant safety and efficiency with its barrier protection and powered operation. The Guardian can also be interconnected to the robotic controller to completely automate the robotic welding process and improve work flow.
