The V200 and V300 safety cameras can be mounted in the corner of a rectangular frame opening to safeguard areas where operators must reach into the machine, such as small assembly, handling and test machines. Unlike safety light curtains, the V200 and V300 cameras use an invisible LED light beam to illuminate specially designed reflective strips that define the protective coverage area. Any interruption to the area is detected by the camera and the dangerous movement is stopped.
These all-in-one cameras are an easier, smaller alternative to safety light curtains. And, their small size saves inventory space, since separate sender/receiver devices aren't necessary.
