S-Band VCO: CRO3544A-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise
SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO3544A-LF in S-band. The CRO3544A-LF operates at 3539-3549 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -111 dBc/Hz @10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 7 MHz/V.
The CRO3544A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3.5 dBm at 5V DC supply while drawing 20 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85ºC. This VCO features excellent typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO3544A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
