VCO: CRO2450B-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise



SAN DIEGO, December 2, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO2450B-LF in S-band. The CRO2450B-LF operates from 2445-2455 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-3.3 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -116 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 5 MHz/V.

The CRO2450B-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 2 dBm at 3.8 Vdc supply while drawing 23 mA over the temperature range of 0° to 40° C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -11 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO2450B-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
