New Vacuum Support Design for Oseco Rupture Disks

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (December 23, 2003) - Oklahoma Safety Equipment Co., Inc. Previous vacuum support designs required the welding of multiple metal buttons over the disk's score lines. These buttons produce multiple sites for potential failure. Oseco's new one piece vacuum support eliminates these potential failure sites, resulting in a more reliable disk. Additionally, the buttons of the old style supports create crevices where process product can build up. The new smooth design reduces this accumulation for cleaner operation.
