ADM-1520 Display Ideal for Medical, Point-of-Sale and Industrial Applications
FREMONT, Calif., - March 12, 2003 - Arista Corporation, a leading industrial PC solutions provider and system integrator, today announced the availability of its latest 20.1" LCD panel display offering the ADM-1520. The new display is ideal for rugged applications including CAD/CAM, medical imaging and industrial floor automation.
The system is a NEMA 4 compliant ruggedized flat-panel LCD monitor featuring Fujitsu's latest Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment (MVA) premium active-matrix technology. MVA provides users of the ADM-1520 with a viewing angle of up to 170 degrees without grayscale inversion or color distortion. This ideal feature allows for the display to be calibrated accurately for professional color matching and to allow clear crisp images for medical technicians. Ideal for medical applications, the display possesses a high-speed response time of 25-milliseconds for sharp delineation of quick moving images without latent images or ghosting.
The ADM-1520 measures 20.1 inches diagonally and boasts an ultra-high 1,600 by 1,200-pixel (UXGA) resolution displaying 16.77 million colors. This results in 64 times as many colors as a conventional LCD panel can display allowing for full rich images to be shown on the system. The display is also known for its brightness (250 nits) and contrast ratio (500:1).
The optional On Screen Display control buttons on the front or rear of the panel allow for quick and easy adjustments to the system. For quick connections, the display is equipped with one analog VGA input connector and one digital signal input connector (DVI). An optional touch screen is also available. The flat panel display is compatible with the VESA-standard free mount for wall or arm mounting and is versatile for any application needs including panel mounting.
