Axiomtek Introduces Its Hardened 18.5-Inch IP65-Rated Industrial Fanless Multi-Touch Panel Computer, the GOT3187W-834-PCT
Axiomtek, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, high performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, is proud to announce the launch of the GOT3187W-834-PCT, a new quad-core fanless multi-touch panel computer for embedded computing or machine control applications. The compact GOT3187W-834-PCT adopts 18.5-inch WXGA TFT LCD and supports the low power consumption four cores Intel® Celeron® processor J1900 with a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C (14°F to 122°F) for mission critical environments. Multiple built-in high-speed LAN ports and USB ports enable fast and efficient data acquisition and communication. Additionally, the widescreen touch panel PC has passed heavy industrial CE standard testing and is designed to operate in trains, heavy-vehicles, heavy industries, and oil pipe monitoring systems.
The superior 18.5” touch panel system supports one 204-pin DDR3L SO-DIMM with system memory up to 8 GB, and has integrated Intel® GFX onboard graphics which offers an advanced computing experience and better graphics performance. Its panel glass has a hardness of 7 in the Mohs scale to ensure high durability. Furthermore, with 2-point multi-touch capabilities, the rugged panel pc provides extensive control for viewing displayed information. With an IP65-rated front bezel and wide temperature operating range, the Axiomtek GOT3187W-834-PCT ensures reliable operation under inclement weather conditions such as intense heat or rainfall, dusty or wet spaces in food factories, marine salt environments and other hazardous environments.
To address demand for multiple types of network and wireless connections (Wi-Fi or 3G/GPRS), the heavy-duty human machine interface (HMI) provides two PCI Express Mini card slots and an optional WLAN/3G antennas for network connections. By simply plugging in the WLAN/3G mini card, customers can use the unit in a wireless environment and even back up their files onto the cloud. To meet different application needs, the outstanding GOT3187W-834-PCT is equipped with multiple I/O ports including two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet LANs and two RS-232/422/485 ports for convenient connections to digital devices. Other features include one CFast™ slot and one 2.5” SATA HDD increased storage capacity and an optional suspension/VESA ARM kit for flexible installation.
This high performance industrial grade touch panel computer is ideal for automation control systems, including HMI and monitoring systems. To combat unstable power supply problems, sometimes found in CNC factories, the IP65-rating GOT3187W-834-PCT is equipped with a wide-range 9V-36V DC power input to prevent unpredictable voltage changes and ensure system reliability.
The robust 18.5in Intel® Atom-based panel PC GOT3187W-834-PCT is compatible with Windows® 7 and 8, Windows® Embedded 7 and 8. The green product is going to be available by early Mach, 2015.
