Handy, Slim, High-Performance - The New Logistics Industrial PC from noax
noax has redesigned its C12 industrial computer PC to focus specifically on the requirements of the logistics industry sector – thanks to its slim dimensions, the new noax PC vehicle terminal is ideally best suited for use with forklifts and industrial trucks. The optimized WLAN properties ensure reliability when performing work, even for mobile applications. Coupled with the renowned noax ruggedness and robustness, these features mean the new C12 design model is exceptionally well suited for applications in both inventory management and transport logistics.
The noax's Compact series of industrial PCs from noax have already proven their worth across all logistics applications for many years, whether it be for order picking and inventory management, the dispatch of trucks, or the transport of heavy loads. noax Technologies AG has now reconstructed their C12 industrial PC with improved housing and internal components, allowing it to, revamping the housing as well as improving the components under the hood. As logistics hardware, the new C12 model stands out from the pack thanks to its slim dimensions, improved flexibility, and numerous options for user-specific configuration.
Up-To-Date Thanks to WLAN and UMTS – Anytime and Anywhere
The redesign provided the noax's developers with an opportunity to reduce the dimensions of the compact C12 even further still, making it. As a result, it is easier to fit into industrial trucks or narrow cabs, such as in forklifts. Thee new C12 supports the WLAN standards 802.11a/b/g/n as well as the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands, to ensure optimal communication within the company network and efficient coordination of the logistics process. The WLAN antennas are integrated into the front frame to prevent them from breaking off. Alternatively, the antennas can also be installed outside the device, like on the roof of the forklift, for example. If WLAN is not available but data still needs to be transferred to the company network, the C12 new noax device also offers the option to transfer data via WWAN, such as UMTS.
Fastest Rapid Data Capture via Bluetooth and RFID
If customers so desire, noax can also integrate the Bluetooth functionality, for data transmission with wireless barcode scanners, for example, thereby simplifying handling during order picking operations. TWhat's more, transponder readers for HiTAG, Mifare, and Legic can also be installed on the IPC, if required.
Greater Ease of Use Thanks to Additional USB Connection
Another new addition is the easily and rapidly accessible USB connection on the front, which allows data to be loaded from a USB memory stick or additional peripheral devices to be connected, for instance. This USB connection is sealed tight by a rubber cap, which that forms a 100% seal. If the cap is if ever lost or fitted incorrectly, the noax engineers have ensured that neither water nor dirt can seep enter the inside of the IPC. As inventory management vehicles as well as noax industrial PCs have to face the elements when used outside, noax's well thought-out concept once again comes into its own in this regard, with its clear focus on robustness and reliability. Additionally, the C12's durable design means it is also suitable for use in cold chain logistics up to minus 30°C.

Additionally, the clever design of the connector area allows the connector cover to be easily fitted and removed in the blink of an eye – a feature that also benefits IT service personnel.
