Rugged Embedded Computer for Compact Military Applications Features Newest Intel Skylake 6th Generation Core i7
Acnodes Corporations, a leading manufacturer of industrial and embedded computer platforms and technologies, introduced today the launch of the FES9280, a military fanless embedded box PC, powering for high-performance military applications with limited space requirements. With the newest CPU generation, Intel Brand New Skylake 6th Generation Core i7-6600U 2.6GHz, computations will be of acceleration. With a wide range temperature, it is complimented with anti-vibration and anti-shock resistance. This next-generation system offering dramatically enhanced processing capability, multiple advanced I/O features in a smaller highly rugged form factor will meet all the expectations.
FES9280 has as much as 16 GB of DDR3L 1600MHz whereas the standard for 8GB, as well as a 2.5” SSD in Hot swappable array and a mSATA SSD 64GB cache for system boot. The Ethernet supports Intel i210 Ethernet Controller and Intel i290 Ethernet Connection. VGA and DVI output accepted. It includes multiple optional features such as HDMI, DP output, full size miniPCIe for wireless card IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 Dual Band, and full size miniPCIe for WWAN 3G/4G card integrated.
I/O for Signal includes two USB 2.0 interfaces, RS232, RS422, GbE LAN (optional for two GbE LAN), HDMI port (either or eDP Port), and VGA port. The power input supports DC 9~36V input. The two SMA antennas are optional.
With its fully IP67 rated enclosure, FES9280 provides for complete dust proofing, against water immersion durability, and anti-corrosion housing yet maintaining its lightweight capability. The fanless feature also contribute to resourcefully dispersing heat while protecting internal components from environmental damage ranging from dust and airborne debris to extreme temperatures, moisture, and vibration.
