GX-1200 Offers Speed While Meeting Industry Standards

Glacier Computer, a leading developer of versatile and powerful industrial computer systems for harsh environments, announces its next generation forklift and fixed-mount rugged computer, the GX-1200 computer. The fastest computer available today, the GX-1200 is designed to meet the rigors of the warehousing, manufacturing, and time and attendance marketplaces.

Equipped with a 1.2 GHz Pentium processor, the GX-1200 is a natural progression for the current line of harsh environment computers offered by Glacier Computer. It offers custom integrated dual-diversity antennas designed for unmatched RF coverage, and is able to withstand the vibration and shock of a forklift installation.

The GX-1200 features a space and cost-saving Mini-PCI module for 802.11 A, B, and G radios, 512 MB DRAM options, and a slim profile enclosure with a generous 12.1" flat-panel LCD. It also features an optional integrated Bluetooth module for scanner and printer communication, internal 45 minute UPS back-up, and rotating and solid-state drive options. The GX-1200 operates on Windows 2000, XP, XP-Embedded, and Linux.
