Original Press Release:

ARBOR Rugged and Wide-Range Temperature Ultra-Slim Box PC--FPC-3100 Series

ARBOR's FPC series is presenting extremely reliability, robust design, fanless operation and complete expandability. ARBOR recently offers versatile Robust Box PCs - FPC-3100, FPC-3101, FPC-3120, which support an industrial temperature range of -20ºC to 70ºC, to meet tough requirements in space-critical and harsh environment applications. To survive in harsh environment, FPC series utilizes a low power CPU, fanless design and effective thermal design. FPC has versatile I/O interfaces including six USB ports, three serial ports, and much more.

Fanless Robust Box PC Solution with Effective Thermal Design

To improve the rate of heat transfer, the case made of aluminum is designed with fins that increases the surface area for more effective heat dissipation. The robust design enhances the product reliability and stability certified by industrial product quality test including anti-vibration (3G), anti-shock (80G) & anti-crash (100G). FPC series is designed to survive being dropped and placed under wide temperature environment (-20~70°C). Thanks to the rugged and compact design for extending the product applications, FPC series is suitable to be installed in limited space for industrial automation, digital signage (DSA), gaming machine and vehicle system applications.

High-performance with complete expandability

Atom computing core provides better computing performance with lesser power consumption. FPC-3100 series is equipped with 1GB DDRII-533 memory, outside accessible CF socket, 2.5" HDD, SSD or 4GB NANDrive, two gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 2.0 ports, three serial ports and one Mini-card slot. FPC-3100 series supports multiple video port input and flexible mounting--wall-mount, VESA-mount and Din-rail mount. Besides, the modular design facilitates maintenance or possible upgrades. It takes only few simple steps to easily install the storage devices. Compact Flash socket (with protective cover and lock) is accessible through I/O panel.
