300W High Performance and Ruggedized DC-DC with EN 50155 Approval for Railway Applications

Wrentham, MA— Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. announces the addition of the new TEQ 300WIR series of 300 watt high performance and ruggedized DC-DC converters with ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges and EN 50155 approval for railway applications to our TRACO Power portfolio.

The shock and vibration resistant TEQ 300WIR series is available in single output voltages of 12, 24, 28 and 48VDC. The chassis mount product is designed for industrial applications where PCB mounting is not possible. A high efficiency of up to 92% and the overall heat sink construction allows an operating temperature from -40ºC up to +55°C with natural convection cooling without power derating and up to +80ºC with power derating. Standard features include output voltage trimming, 3000VDC I/O isolation, power sharing (up to 3 units in parallel), soft start, remote on/off and under voltage lockout.  The ultra-wide input voltage range, constant current output characteristic and reverse input voltage protection make these converters an ideal solution for battery operated systems.
