"School districts across the country want better Wi-Fi and we're literally giving it to them," said David Callisch, vice president of marketing for Ruckus Wireless. "Parents, teachers and students all recognize the profound benefits of using tablet computers, laptops, and other mobile gadgets in the classroom. Yet in order to make effective use of these devices, a reliable, robust Wi-Fi network is critical - and schools' tightening budgets pose significant challenges. We're hoping to make a difference for both kids and teachers."

As school districts deal with the influx of wireless-only devices appearing on campus, the requirement for more pervasive and reliable wireless connectivity is exploding. Based on patented Smart Wi-Fi technology, the Ruckus ZoneFlex Smart Wi-Fi system is quickly becoming the defacto standard for next generation wireless networking at school districts across the country.

Unlike conventional Wi-Fi technology, Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi is based on adaptive antenna array technology that focuses and steers Wi-Fi signals over the best signal path, automatically mitigating interference. This ensures unprecedented Wi-Fi reliability, the highest data rates and consistent performance at longer distances. The Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi equipment has seen increased adoption in the education sector because of its reliable performance and ability to support large-scale mobile device usage that takes place in classrooms.
