For added convenience, Magid also offers in-house electrical glove testing (EGT) capabilities made available through its progressive new EGT machine to streamline purchasing and testing needs. Sophisticated and savvy, the Magid EGT Machine utilizes digital microprocessor controls and metering as well as a menu-based test system from which the user can choose from a predefined set of criteria such as glove class, glove length, new glove test or retest. All Magid EGT system settings - including test voltage, current limit, glove depth, water fill level, test time, blower speed and exhaust fan speed - are activated with just a single selection thereby eliminating operator error and maximizing testing efficiencies.
Its robust platform holds up to three pairs of all available electrical rubber glove classes (00-4), lengths (11"-18") and cuffs (straight, contour, bell), and even contains intuitive programming that alerts the tester if and when the machine is on the wrong settings. All results are stored on a hard drive and outputted directly into Magid's order tracking system. Orders are accepted electronically, by telephone or fax, and the gloves are date stamped and sent back with a copy of the test report within 10-14 days of receipt. Virtually no other provider offers the same level of automation.
