Custom Molded Fluorosilicone Rubber Gaskets and Pads

Philadelphia, Pa. - Stockwell Rubber Company announces the availability of fluorosilicone rubber gaskets and cushioning pads supplied in die cut, water jet cut and custom molded configurations. Fluorosilicone (fluorinated silicone rubber) has many of the basic properties of silicone rubber, such as resilience, high / low temperature stability and resistance to aging and degradation from sunlight and ozone. Fluorosilicone rubber products have widespread aerospace industry applications, because they are resistant to the effects of jet fuel, hydraulic fluids, and special coolants such as Coolanol (R) and PAO.

Fluorosilicone compounds are readily available to provide 40, 50, 60 and 70 durometer molded sheets, gaskets and custom components. The compounds can be certified to Mil-R-25988 B, Type 2, Class 1 and AMS specifications. Stockwell Rubber Company also maintains an inventory of medium density closed cell fluorosilicone sponge in .032", .062", .125" and .188" thicknesses. All fluorosilicone rubber products are available with high strength acrylic adhesive backings.

Design assistance and feasibility review are available.

The company's core competence is the fabrication and molding of silicone rubber and similar high performance elastomers. In-house capabilities include custom molding and die cutting, and water jet cutting. Water jet cutting is typically used for fast turn prototypes and initial production. Electronic files are accepted by e-mail in Autocad dxf, dwg, IGES, or Pro-E format.

Stockwell Rubber Company is registered to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards.
