Overhead Door Introduces The RSX® Fire Door Operator

Overhead Door, the originator of the upward lifting garage door and the first electronic garage door opener, has introduced the RSX® Fire Door Operator as the company’s newest commercial operator.

The RSX® Fire Door Operator includes fully integrated door release capability and provides 24-hour battery backup, allowing for additional protection in the event of power loss. There is also no manual intervention required to reset the operator after a fire alarm or drop test. The door may be motor operated normally upon reset of the fire alarm signal, and test key switch, making it perfect for commercial use. The RSX® Fire Door Operator may be used with Overhead Door FireKing® series doors. It is also Factory Mutual (FM) approved in the United States and UL listed in the United States and Canada.
