Providing upgraded functionality to Maxim's legacy MAX3224E-MAX3227E RS-232 transceivers, these devices provide the industry's highest data rates (up to 3Mbps), low-voltage logic-level translation, low 1µA supply current through the AutoShutdown Plus(TM) feature, and enhanced ESD protection. All transmitter outputs and receiver inputs are protected to ±15kV Air-Gap Discharge and ±8kV Contact Discharge per IEC 1000-4-2, as well as ±15kV using the Human Body Model.
