E-Switch Introduces Low-Profile, Ergonomic Pushbutton Switch
BROOKLYN PARK, MN - E-Switch has introduced a new round pushbutton switch that features a sculptured squared flange and low--profile design to complement the front panels of a wide variety of consumer and commercial equipment. The new RP 3508 pushbutton switch is available with or without illumination in SPST, Off-(On) momentary; or SPST, Off-On.
"The advanced design-look of the new RP 3508 blends with the modern, ergonomic styling of many new consumer and commercial electronic products," says Mark Lakedon, Sr. Applications Engineer for E-Switch. "The switch also features a knurled, threaded plastic lock-ring for quick and secure mounting without the use of tools."
The new RP 3508 has a contact rating of 3 amps @ 125 VAC or 1.5 amps @ 250 VAC, with a mechanical life estimated at 20,000 cycles. The flange is 18 mm square and the height of the pushbutton is only 3.55 mm. The switch has silver-plated solder lugs and can accommodate panels up to 7 mm thick. It is available with or without a 3 VDC LED, wired separately. LED colors include a choice of red, yellow or green. Operating temperatures range from 0°C to +65°C.
