High Pumping Speed, Ultra-Clean Rotary Vane Pump Eliminates Oil Leaks

Nashua, New Hampshire -Pfeiffer Vacuum, one of the world's leading producers of vacuum products and services, has announced the availability of the UNO 30M rotary vane pump. The single-stage UNO 30M rotary vane pump with magnetic coupling maximizes uptime performance and virtually eliminates oil leaks. The compact, high capacity pump delivers a pumping speed of 35 m³/hr at 60 Hz and comes standard with a single-phase motor for easy electrical connection. The pump is ideal for analytical equipment manufacturers for use in LC-MS, FT-MS and ICP-MS instruments. In addition, the UNO 30M is used in laboratory vacuum applications, as a backing pump for conventional turbopumps, in pumping stations, and applications in the rough and medium vacuum range.

The UNO 30M is part of the proven "M" series of rotary vane pumps which feature a magnetic coupling that results in less pump wear. The magnetic coupling eliminates radial shaft seals increasing pump life and makes pump repairs easier if service is necessary. The pumps are hermetically sealed resulting in a negligible leak rate of <1E-5 mbar 1/sec. The integrity of the users vacuum process is protected by an integrated hydraulically controlled, high speed, high vacuum safety valve. Compact and extremely quiet in operation, the "M" series of pumaps offers an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
