Detent-Action Rotary Switches
WEYMOUTH, MA - Series 24 Detent-Action Rotary Switches from Electroswitch are tough, durable, and ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications.
Series 24 Detent-Action Rotary Switches have a continuous rating of 30 amps at 600 volts. They feature fully enclosed decks and self-cleaning, silver-plated, double-sided, double-wiping contacts for low-resistance (.01 ohms maximum) contacting and years of reliable service. They can be configured with up to 8 positions and up to 20 poles. Their construction features molded phenolic insulating disks that provide a minimum insulation resistance of 100 Megohms. Terminal screws provide easy, strong connections.
Series 24 Instrument Switches may have "make-before-break" (shorting) contacts, which will allow sequential connections on the same switching deck. Series 24 Control Switches can also feature spring return to normal (vertical) position. All have three-hole mounts and are UL recognized and CSA certified.
Other features include waterproof mounts, gear-driven operation, push-to-turn handles, and key operation. Pre-configured, application-specific Series 24 Instrument Switches include Voltmeter Transfer Switches, Ammeter Transfer Switches, and a Motor Control Switch.
Series 24 Switches are also available with lighted nameplates for fast, easy-to-see status indication. No special operator training is needed for this option, which uses up to three long-lived light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that can be wired for local or remote annunciation. Five bright colors are available to separately identify multiple functions.
